KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) spokesperson said on Saturday that Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui – the party’s deputy convener – did not meet former President General Pervez Musharraf in Dubai but went there for medical treatment, a local news channel reported.
Siddiqui becomes the second senior MQM-Pakistan leader to visit Dubai after Farooq Sattar. The spokesperson denied the rumours of Siddiqui’s meeting with Musharraf.
MQM Rabita Committee member Aminul Haque said that such reports were baseless as Siddiqui went to Dubai for medical treatments.
